For Our Client, international rapidly growing engineered solutions provider: we are currently seeking non-experience but well-educated candidate for the position of:
Assistant Projects Manager
Ref. No: Assistant PM_ Middle East_2019

Location: Qatar, Kuwait, UAE or Saudi Arabia
Reports to: General Manager of Ground Water Control Department or to Country Manager
Salary Level: monthly ~2790 Euro net (12 000 PLN net)

Requirements:
• EDUCATION Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an internationally recognised University. Study in surveying / engineering or MRICS would be an added advantage.
• KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Knowledge & interest in Ground Water Control;
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications;
• Keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills, which support and enable sound decision making;
• Results Orientation, Customer Focus/Service Orientation, Innovative Thinking, Quality Assurance / Attention to Detail;
• Civil Engineering (Principles of), Numerical Accuracy, Payment Terms, Cost, Quantity Surveying, Method Statements, Project schedules;
• Methodical way of thinking;
• Good knowledge of construction;
• The ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily.
• EXPERIENCE is an additional Asset - commercial experience in civil, geotechnical / sub-structure related projects with a leading contractor.
Responsibilities:
• In consultation with the GM direct & control end to end process of project management, design & bid solutions to deliver competitive and cost - effective engineering solutions to achieve departmental objectives.
• Consult the General Manager on the pricing structures and mitigate risk associated with contracts and documentation;
• Identify & address problems and opportunities; brings those which are appropriate to the General Manager and facilitates discussion & deliberation;
• The job holder is a focal point of contact in representing the Company to clients, Sub-Contractors, Staff and third parties concerned with the Projects and is responsible for maintaining good working relationship with all parties at all levels at all times;
• Participate in setting budgetary controls and key performance indicators to safeguard the financial health of the region;
• Assure filing of legal and regulatory documents and monitors compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and Company standards;
• Accountable for the generation & for the collections of revenue in accordance with the defined revenue & collections targets of the business unit;
• Project Operations and Delivery: Accountable for the execution of all operational works, on multiple project sites simultaneously, from handover through to project closure including mobilization, procurement, installation, commissioning, monitoring and demobilization.
• Work with the relevant internal departments to ensure project schedules and deliverables are being met as per defined timelines.
QHSE:
• Make a deliberate effort to gain a full understanding and working knowledge of the Company’s QHSE Policies and Procedures, ensuring all site personnel adhere to them at all times;
• Evolve a safe working environment and a zero tolerances for unsafe working practices;
• Ensure all the applicable quality checklists are properly completed.
Cross Functional Support/Training:
• Set direction and objectives for team members and ensure achievement of their development plans, including recruitment, development and mentoring;
• Works closely with internal project stakeholders assigned to resolve any project risks associated with contracts, documentation & execution.
• Identify & address problems and opportunities; brings those which are appropriate to the General Manager / Line Manager and facilitates discussion & deliberation.
• Assist the Line Manager in preparing a rolling manpower plan for 12 months and justify needs for additional resources.
