Employer: one of an international, non-food, trade and manufacturing company (2 factories, 600+ FTE)
Reports to: Head of Global E-Commerce
Location: Germany, but also Poland or Italy - remote work/ in the field + frequent visits to HQ in Switzerland

Responsibilities:
• Take full responsibility for the online shop, including planning, execution, and optimization of the sales strategy.
• Ensure smooth operation of the shop on the Shopware 6 platform.
• Implement a high degree of automation for product placement, pricing, order processing, and other key processes in collaboration with our agency and in-house software development team.
• Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement of the online shop.
• Develop and implement SEO/SEA strategies and performance marketing measures to increase visibility and conversion rates.
• Monitor KPIs and derive action recommendations to improve performance.
• Drive the internationalization of the shop.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all shop activities.
• Manage product assortment, content, and product data.
• Optimize and further develop the shop based on relevant KPIs.
• Act as the interface between agencies, the company, and other partners.
• Manage, maintain, and publish content for the national web shop (Shopify) while also handling general product management and presentation.
• Creatively optimize website content and structure for customer experience, traffic, and conversion rates.
• Analyze the customer journey to develop cross-functional solutions for continuous customer experience and efficiency improvements.
• Lead the design and implementation of a holistic online strategy, including SEO/SEA.
• Conduct keyword research and develop SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
• Create and optimize promotional pages, marketing campaigns, and landing pages in the web shop.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing and IT teams to enhance website design and performance in line with company goals.
• Independently and responsibly manage agencies and service providers.
• Generate regular reports and analyses using web analytics tools to track and improve web shop performance.
• Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and present findings to management.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements in all webshop and marketing activities.

Required skills:
• You are passionate about the latest e-commerce trends and eager to continuously expand your knowledge.
• You have a degree in e-commerce, business/media studies, business administration, or business informatics.
• You have relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience as an e-commerce manager, ideally in the consumer goods sector, with at least three years of experience in managing and optimizing online shops.
• Strong knowledge of Shopware 6 and experience in designing and implementing custom shop templates, as well as relevant systems (e.g., ERP, PIM, CMS).
• Solid understanding of process optimization and automation.
• Experience in online product marketing, especially in the B2C sector, including SEO/SEA, social media marketing, and performance marketing.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• A team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High self-motivation, result orientation, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Hands-on mentality combined with strong organizational skills and initiative.
• Passion for numbers, analysis, and web analytics tools.
• Experience with Plentymarkets is a plus.
• Excellent German and English skills (spoken and written).
