Key Account Manager - France

Employer: one of an international, non-food, trade and manufacturing company

Role: an account manager/ negotiator with food or non food retailers, dedicated to supporting of building and developing sales in the French market

Reports to: Sales Manager BeNeLux, France, Iberia

Location: France (remote work/ in the field)

Main responsibilities:

• Co-creating and implementing the commercial strategy for the region (implementing pricing, discount and promotional policies according to product margins, and introducing new products);
• Daily operating with currently existing Clients: retailers (DIY & FMCG in the non-food category), wholesalers & dealers negotiations;
• Developing contacts with new Clients;
• Preparing monthly forecasts and sales plans for individual clients;
• Monitoring settlements with clients for compliance with trade agreements in cooperation with the customer service and finance departments;
• Calculating product deliveries to clients based on the country of production and using cost data received from international distribution centers and the internal transport department;
• Analyzing competitors’ activities;
• Creating (in collaboration with the internal marketing department) and activating promotional campaigns for the aforementioned business partners and for the salespeople of individual stores within the retail chains;
• Cooperating with Customer Service and Back Office teams.

Required skills:

Experience in a similar sales position within the non-food category, in retail chains, dealing with buyers;
Fluency in French and English (additional language: Spanish or German will be a strong advantage);
• Good knowledge of MS Office (good command of Excel and PowerPoint);
• Driving license and willingness to travel;
• Strong negotiation skills;
• Highly developed communication and analytical skills;
• Independence and consistency in planning;
• Well-organized, goal-oriented, and dynamic person;
• High work standards and attention to detail.
